    Campaign Overview

To coincide with COP27, WWF and creative studio NOMINT launched A Flammable Planet to raise awareness about the escalating threat of wildfires. As climate change accelerates, wildfires are becoming more intense, more frequent, and more destructive, devastating communities, wildlife, and ecosystems around the world.

The campaign aimed to spotlight this growing crisis and its deep connection to the climate emergency. Through evocative visual storytelling, A Flammable Planet illustrated the urgent need for climate action to prevent further loss of lives, habitats, and natural resources.

    Outcomes & Results

A Flammable Planet drew global attention during COP27 for its striking use of real fire in stop-motion animation, a bold creative approach that powerfully conveyed the devastating impact of wildfires.

The campaign successfully raised awareness of the growing frequency of climate-driven disasters like catastrophic wildfires, resonating with global audiences.

Its innovative execution and compelling message earned widespread recognition, including a prestigious Webby Award for Best Animation, along with several other industry accolades.
